Yup, it's not an excemption to use pirated software. But getting it to run on linux will buy cafe owners the time required to amass the funds needed to go legal. imagine msoffice2003 costing 10000, photoshop 20t + and so does corel. not a feasible solution for any cafe owners because at a rental fee of P20 - P30 / hr. would make roi reach 2 yrs. or more. And increasing the rental rates wouldn't exactly help bridge the digital divide that cict is fostering.
