This is a bit late, but anyway... I've also tried Puppy Linux.  I was looking for a distro that I could boot from flash disk and Puppy advertised itself as such.  Haven't actually tried booting from flash, but at 60MB tops on a CD-ROM, it works okay.

I say "okay" instead of great because its Mozilla dies every now and then and leaves zombie processes.
