Lastly, not all people who ask for help is lazy. That is a very discrimanating judgement (whether Filipino or not). I think its really time to PUT Linux-advance, and if somebody there ask similar repeated questions, then we can say RTFM or google it. But, for newbies, it should not be like that. To think, I'm encouraging my mother to use Linux so that we can chat even if im in afrika.
i don't think that's a discriminating judgment. most people are lazy, i'm not ashamed to say that i'm lazy. Larry Wall says that all programmers are lazy, and i'm not going to disagree with him. but.. a little proactiveness never hurt anyone!! i see this sort of behavior all over the place (not just Linux). people just ask, and then they get pissed off when nobody answers.
