I was impressed by the packaging work that they did for the CDs. I intended to give them away to some techie friends as I go around this Christmas season. I was after the good packaging.
I'm also impressed how the Ubuntu team markets their distribution. Companies like Bea, Oracle, etc. does the same to get attention and adaptation of their products. Who doesn't like freebies? :)
Thanks for the tip on ordering less. My previous set was delivered to my office (without brouhaha) when I ordered only 20.

I know this has been discussed before. Because of the customs problems
here, as much as possible, avoid ordering online. Just download the
ISOs and burn them your self. If it's not possible to download the
ISOs, you can order, but please don't order a lot or else it will
really catch the attention of the customs because they might think
it's a for profit thing. Just download or get 1 copy (at least 1 for
each platform) and then duplicate the CDs as many as you need.
