Right, it is not free, but still open-source.  All I am paying for is

Paying a tariff that is more than half the cost of the DVD themselves 
isn't fair.  I am not saying that I should not pay tariff, but at least 
it should be fair market value.

I believe that buying DVD/CDs from open-source organizations/companies 
is one way of supporting open-source development.  I could have 
downloaded it, but supporting one of the distros that I like by buying 
from them makes sense to me.

I do not believe that it is abusing it.

I applaud the idea behind the letter.  But I believe that it is only 
scratching the surface of the problem.  And as an organization, I 
believe PLUG can make a significant difference.
