perfect to one is jumbled to another. you have to accept the fact that
people are different and like different things. to be confined to
something that "someone thinks is close to perfect" is the same way as
having your decisions made for you. i'm the one who's going to use
gnome so why not let me configure it to my liking?
because the average linux user on this list does not represent 99.9% of the population. you are not the target market of gnome.
