The problem with the memo is that when someone else is elected as
mayor, there's no guarantee that memo will stick. I guess a better
solition would be to pass it as a city/municipal ordinance.

I think that is a very good idea.  The problem is I am not sure how will our council will embrace the idea... or should I just also start fixing their laptops?! :)

But we'll see what we can do... no harm in trying.
