Hi guys, I am using Puppy Linux running on CDROM for our 8 workstation clients all without hardisk. The purpose is to access our web based application on the main server. It's only 60MB in size.
It really worked wonders and ***tremendously*** lessen our expense with hardware and OS cost not to mention limit the activities of encoders to their work and easier training for MS users. I tried running Ubuntu Live CD but it loads sluggishly on our machine (Sempron 2500 , 128 Memory, No hardisk, No FDD, No Hardisk) =) what a budget!!! Well just for Pure encoding. I also tried Austrumi but it also worked like Ubuntu. Any live distros you might suggest?
