why HMR? arellano university just upgraded their entire system, 600 PCs
laying around. they bought 25M worth of HP desktops, what are they gonna
do with their old PC's?
that would be a nice project for PLUG / FOSS, somebody ought to contact
mr. coco cayco about donating it.
..or if i contact mr.cayco myself, would there be any advocates here
willing to do some work on implementing an LTSP project for X
beneficiaries? who would be the beneficiaries?
..and i think that for computer education to be successful, the ratio
should be 1:1; 1 computer:1 student, magaling nga mag friendster at mag
y!m chat ang mga public school students eh, why cant they get to learn
to use OpenOffice and firefox? or explore any linux distro for that matter?
well, like from a previous discussion, maybe PLUG should be a force to
reckon with first, and this maybe achieved by providing free
training(education maybe on a grassroots level) who knows, maybe PLUG
can get a seat in congress as a party list representative?
