I think many people are by now irritated by all of this non-technical advocacy discussion on the main PLUG list, which has been billed as a strictly technical forum. I think it would be prudent, in maintaining the focus of the mailing list on technical matters, to create a new mailing list specifically for the discussion of GNU/Linux and Free Software advocacy. I believe this distinction is far more clear-cut than the previous plug/plug-newbies dichotomy. As long as it has to do with advocating and promoting the use of Free Software and GNU/Linux, it should go on the advocacy list. If it's a technical issue involving GNU/Linux, it goes on the main PLUG list.
