My ubuntu unstallation wouldn't boot since I've placed a script in /etc/rc2.d. The boot process would hang during the 'Configuring network interfaces' portion, as the script was supposed to automatically configure the wifi device 'ra0' by invoking 'dhclient ra0'. I was thinking if I could just sidestep runlevel 2 then maybe I could get ubuntu running. But I'm a linux newbie so I'm not so sure, or know actually, of what can be done. Could really use some help here, this is much too complicated for a newbie.
