Thanks for the links although I'm already familiar with those pipelining tweaks from a few months ago. The problem with the the packaged Firefox on FC5 that I've experienced is not with the loading of pages on the browser (as the tweaks above are supposed to "remedy") but with the execution of the program itself (slow loading time, slow switching between tabs, etc.). As I've said, disabling SELinux fixed it - so, unless you'll be needing SELinux, it might be best to turn it off. -- Stand before it and there is no beginning. Follow it and there is no end.
