I see. At work i am using 2.6.16-mm2 with a heavily patched debian sarge server. I dont have a problem so far. But thats my first upgrade since 2.6.11. I rebuild everything as a test for the kernel. I have a few file servers sharing resources via 9p and i run the build over the network. I just type make in the source directory on friday evening and go home. That way i get to test everything. When all the tests pass it goes straight into production. After three years my boss dont loose any more sleep over it. Oh, i spent the previous three years writing the tests by the way. -- www.smsglobal.net SMS Global Ltd Short Message Service For Seafarers _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
