Hi all! I'm playing with the BLAG distro (ver 49K-current) just to get the
feel of it. Okey naman: GNOME desktop with the complete shebang based on
Fedora Core 5 and works out of the box (almost). Ang isang problema ko
lang ay ang apt-get/synaptic/yum: ayaw mag connect sa repository! I already
changed the proxy setting in /etc/apt.d/aptget.conf to suit my needs but no
dice: it says timed out connection or something. I pinged the repo ip
address and yes i have connection. Anything else i miss? I even disabled
the firewall but still none. Also made http/ftp proxy env variables in
my .bashrc but still didnt help.

I know this version is for testing only like clearly mentioned in the BLAG
website. I dont mind borking my system: i can wipe out and reinstall with
no worry of important data whatsoever (may backup na ako po :-)). Merong
workaround akong nabasa dun sa Blag forum something like apt-get update,
apt-get distupgrade then apt-get -f install. I cant do this as i have no
connectivity. Need help here guys. Thanks.
