Yes.

Just grant privileges to a user and the host. Check your my.conf too.

Something like this should work:

grant all privileges on test.* to 'guest'@' 192.168.1.2' identified by 's33kr3t';

what IP shouild I use? the computer that I am connecting to is connected to a LAN and all the workstations have the same IP address....
