Opinion on Ubuntu in the Server. Check the title of the post sir. Context is: Mission Critical Solution, Enterprise Grade requirements, choices are RHEL, SuSE, Debian, and Ubuntu. Other people seem to be able to keep it on topic.
and based from previous threads that i've read you said you are an open minded guy not a zealot like some people, so why the attitude?
The attitude comes from the fact that what you just posted had nothing to do with the technical aspect of a BSD system.
it's just a recommendation, don't follow it if you don't like it, you still have the final say on what to do. Linux and the BSD's will still lag behind MS with regards to hardware compatibility no matter what we do, it's hard to accept but that's a fact!
