Google may be open-source based but that doesn't make them an open source company, not by a long shot. They may have clusters of thousands of systems running GNU/Linux, but their product is really their non-open source search and ad software, making them just as much of a proprietary software company as Microsoft. -- Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. http://stormwyrm.blogspot.com/ _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
