I also tried Opera, but had problems with downloading iso files (some
transfers were cutoff and it failed to resume the download but started from
the beginning instead).  I wonder if it's just me or othes had a similar

I don't use Opera but do have a suggestion regarding ISO files. I've
found that, oddly enough, downloading ISO files through a browser is
slower than from the command line. What I do instead is, when I can,
copy the ISO's URL to clipboard, switch to a console, then wget -c
{paste ISO URL here}. Yeah, I know, it's a kludge.
