Yeah the http servers are hammered and even the mirrors aren't coping
up, despite the preparations (the final ISOs were ready at least 2
days before). The torrents are burning though and you can finish an
ISO faster rather than downloading it as a whole.

I wonder how the others fared, especially on having upstart installed
and replacing your sysvinit ;)

like MonoDevelop and other development tools... so I guess the more stuff
you have installed the longer it takes to update. of course, this is still
laudable, given that the upgrade worked 100% (based on my experience). if I
was more concerned about having a running Edgy system out of the box, I
would have been better off downloading the ISO and doing the fresh install
(which would take like 25 minutes or so).
