I disagree.

Then let's agree to disagree.

This is about us and them. us and government. I don't
trust them. they need to be watched because when you are not looking
those thieving lot is going to run away with your money or stab you in
the back. Its a balancing act.

If you say so...

We are the constituents. We control the government therefore we need
to see the code. The people choosing the software are working for us.

Sorry, we are the constituents and we should be able to let our
elected representatives know what we think about the FOSS bill --
which is what I and others have been doing.

I think the American style republican democracy, like the Philippines,
was supposed to work that way.

And that's why we try our best to elect the people we think will be
representing our beliefs and convictions. Now that the people in
congress are trying to do something I think is patently stupid (there
I said it again) then I do my best to let my thoughts known.

Mind you, we have our equal chances here so I'll let you on with your
anti-government thoughts to yourself. :)
