My bad... 1.6.2 :D Introduced to me by my former colleague at work. It
was much faster in boot-time compared to the typical Linux install at
that time, stable, and I really liked its predictable file structure and
single config file /etc/rc.conf to configure. FreeBSD 5.x back then was
not a choice as it occasionally panicked on our hardware ( an old PIII
and an Athlon64).
