I just disabled the auto mounting of my ntfs partition and it worked!

Apparently ntfs-3g is not stable as the developers claim it to be.

hi,

the first thing you can do is  to  look at the logs, it should tell what
caused the problem, IMO it might be a hard drive failure or some hardware
error during boot up( e.g., missing keyboard).
