Hitachi is shipping their 1GB disks now, $450 ang price
daw. I don't know if that's suggested retail though, or
volume pricing. 7200RPM, so I don't think I'd use them
for database servers (well, puede na rin, if I can get
8 of them in a box, more spindles=more performance), but
definitely a good option for rsync based backups (or any
backups).
