It's actually a good idea, a local government does need to have its
own IT strategies if it wants to be competitive amongst the other
cities/provinces
If the QC government can say simplify access to fpga's, pcb
fabrication supplies, silicon fab houses, and then fund software
development then we just reinvented silicon valley with a flatter and
less sloped learning curve and lower barrier to entry in terms of
capital.
Yeah, QC has this strategy of building one part of the city as an IT
hub. Perhaps this can be a good proposal as well.
