I've been longing for Beryl for some time now... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beryl_%28window_manager%29 ...and now it's called Compiz http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compiz Unfortunately, my ATI FireGL 7800 graphics card is not fully supported by Linux... it acts only as a frame buffer <sigh!> So I don't think it will be good enough... http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/ATI_Mobility_FireGL_7800 Anybody here use it? What graphics card do you use? How do you like it? How's the performance with Google Earth (Linux, of course) ?
