Playing around it with AWN I'm still to get the most of it but its so cool. I usually RDP to a windows server and another remote session of RHEL on the other desktop and its like poking around with 3 operating system running parallel to each other. Caveat more ram needed but so nice for remote management.
I think the future is geared on multiple parallel remote system and managing it remotely on single client in a multidimensional mode. thad On 9/9/07, Drexx Laggui [personal] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > 09Sep2007 (UTC +8) > > Windows Vista vs Beryl > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xC5uEe5OzNQ > (I love the parting shot!) > > I've been longing for Beryl for some time now... > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beryl_%28window_manager%29 > ...and now it's called Compiz > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compiz > > Unfortunately, my ATI FireGL 7800 graphics card is not fully supported > by Linux... it acts only as a frame buffer <sigh!> So I don't think it > will be good enough... > http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/ATI_Mobility_FireGL_7800 > > Anybody here use it?
