I'm using Compiz Fusion now. Everything works fine except for Google Earth where I have to revert back to metacity to use it. It's probably a video card driver problem.
The most useful feature for Beryl and Compiz Fusion is that it [easily] allows me to switch between windows from all workspaces. I couldn't figure it out with metacity before.
