I think Obet's point is for hardware in general, the printer just
being an example.
Also, that list is huge, and not specific to the local market. The
service of going through all the hardware that comes in and testing
whether it is linux compatible or will work with some tweaking is not
easy if you have a ton of equipment to test. But it would be useful if
there was a list made available to _computer shops_, whether online or
not.
