if it's a master list of locally available hardware that we are talking about, then I'm all for it. Unfortunately, the distributors need to be in on his. Since I'm sure they import new stuff everyday. How do we know which HW to include in the list? But definitely, this type of list would be very good for Linux hardware purchasers.
