Good saturday afternoon, Yes the scheme is possible. I have a Qemu host without Xorg installed. The Qemu guest configuration has VNC enabled. I then access the guest machine through a VNC client. Had great results with KVM <http://archives.free.net.ph/message/20071018.104032.361fa393.en.html>.
