If you got your domain name from them, shouldn't they be giving you the nameservers?
You can also register your domain in one of the many free dns service providers, and give modwest their servers' FQDNs. --- mike t. ----- Original Message ---- From: Jun Martin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Technical Discussion List <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 3, 2008 1:33:49 PM Subject: Re: [plug] transferring telco's (DSL) Modwest requires that I submit two (2) authoritative name servers. We are getting fed up by the speed we're getting from our current DSL provider, so we're considering subscribing to PLDT's MyDSL BIZ instead. Problem is, how do we transfer smoothly if we have a DNS (bind), a web server and email server on a domain (<mycompany>.com) registered via modwest.com? We're open to having them both for a few months until the transition is smoothened out.
