hi, could you check if going to rescue mode also produces the same thing:
boot: linux rescue also, try these other boot params: boot: linux noprobe noacpi it would also help to submit a bug report. and uhm, why not try installing x86 version of f8. maybe that'll help you narrow down the problem.
