Three places you can try right now is 
Market Market has a second hand book shop lower floor.
There is a second hand book store in Legaspi Village but not sure of the 
street. and also never seen any good books there.. (Technical)
You could try National they have some really old books that should not be sold 
any more. 
Another is up near Power Games? In Rockwell just next to the "Timezone place" 
is a store with books that also should not be on sale anymore "Developing 
with QT 2"

The best national so far I have seen is Mall of Asia, It actually had three 
yes three books I wanted and up to date, I got two, wife was with me .. 

The look on her face, was astonishing when the lady rang up the bill, When i 
don't even flinch at her clothes cost.
