Not really for Vista Aero. There's a class action suit against Intel (and/or MS, I think) because MS "downgraded" their "Vista Capable" standard to accommodate the intel 915 chipsets -- which cannot really support Aero. As for games, I'm using a laptop with an Intel Chipset. CS:Source (under Cedega) played fine for me.
