Migs, those 7050 boards are horrific.

I was thinking of getting one of those, but broke down and got a
7300GS discrete board (under 2k). For my apps^H^H^H^H games like
Oblivion, it's too slow. The 8400GS is not any better. The 7050 is
much, much worse (even lower performance than a 6100).

In my opinion the ultra-low end video boards are no better than Intel
Graphics. If you're thinking "maximize the rig so I can play modern
games" forget about it. Budget at least 6k just for the board if
you're serious about that.

I am now regretting having bought an entry-level main board that only
has two DDR2 slots. So i'm maxed out at 2GB right now. I will have to
ditch this board some time for a four-slotter (hopefully a board that
will let me overclock my E2180 to 3GHz as well, hehehe..)
