It depends on the budget and the location of you branch office..

You can either work with DSL ( a lot cheaper ) only if HQ FTP server can
be seen in the internet

You can use PLDT's IPVPN.. IIRC they have what they call "something"
SHOP but only cater on limited bandwidth

Or if you have line of sight on the HQ with a clear future on no
obstruction you can buy wireless equipments with respect to distance..

Hi,

I am planning to replace our branch connection which currently using
Dial-up provided by PLDT in order to transmits and receives file from
HQ. Diagram below is how the connection was made. 
Branch workstation<-----(Dial-up)------>PLDT<----------(E1)-------->HQ
Ftp server<---------(LAN)------>File server
What I want to achieve is for the branch to become always online. What
is your suggestion for alternative and what means of communication
technology is needed to achieve that?
