I would disagree. Looking at ubuntuforums.org, more people refer to the versions with the adjective part of the codename (warty, edgy, feisty, gutsy, hardy, and intrepid). Even in launchpad. I believe, this is the more popular monicker of the ubuntu versions. IMO.

It's actually Ubuntu 8.04 LTS :) Hardy Heron is just the codename for the development version of the said release. Once a release is done, we don't refer to the distro on the code name anymore but with the release version. -- Jerome _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List http://lists.linux.org.ph/mailman/listinfo/plug Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph -- http://kikay.exchange.ph http://mom.exchange.ph http://basketball.exchange.ph http://linux.org.ph ======================= Make life easier for Webmasters! http://spreadfirefox.com/community/?q=user/register&r=137994
