Hey list, I've an issue with lousy video acceleration. Scrolling up and down the Gmail inbox UI is very slow.
I've updated nvidia drivers via envy = http://www.albertomilone.com/nvidia_scripts1.html and everything looks correct, but scrolling up and down is still a pain. Also, watching lengthy youtube videos is choppy, almost like it doesn't cache or at least, caches wrong. Any tips? Mostly though, so far so good, i'm happy with hardy heron inspite of its unfortunate name, and have gotten productive relatively quickly. ive installed ms fonts (really need that for webdev work), bluefish and filezilla.
