Anyone knows a program that will monitor all files inside a directory? I'll be setting up a samba and I need to monitor all files inside those samba directories. Samba log files is not that friendly so I'm checking other apps to monitor those files. Monitoring must includes when it was modified and which user, when it was uploaded/downloaded, when it was open and close by the user. It must have a GUI interface for other people to see it.
I'm looking into SNARE but still looking for other alternatives since I'm having a hard time patching the kernel support of SNARE to CentOS 5. TIA -- Nelson Serafica
