Richard, Thank you for the link. I think I will go for the Ubuntu desktop, since CFQ i/o scheduling, preemptible kernel, and 250Hz timer tick interrupt will give me a more responsive interactive user environment.

This year Ateneo is celebrating its sesquicentennial (150-year anniversary). In 1961-65, Ateneo did not yet have women (coeds), no BS Computer Science, but I think you had Latin. Did you have debating class in Latin? I did mathematics (MS 1977-79, PhD 79-82) there.
