We have the same setup and its running ubuntu. I pick ubuntu because I'm more
familiar with this distro and we are all running xubuntu desktop. I don't want
to have mixed distro to support. Fedora/RHEL also has this emerging project
FreeIPA(Identy,Policy,Audit) which bundles everything. My ppa might help also
if your going to use ubuntu.
