You should see the U120H MSI. It has built-in 3G / HSDPA router. Meaning
even if there is no wi-fi spot, just put it your Globe / Smart SIM card and
you have internet access ANYWHERE, ANYTIME....

Subject: [plug] What I want in a netbook

What do I want in my next netbook?

After using the MSI Wind u100x for several months, I have come
to the following conclusions:

1. Netbooks are practical and serve a useful purpose for those
who move around a lot: they are good for your mobile computing
needs.

2. I want my netbook to have 1024x768. The 1024x600 is just not
good enough. For example, the [OK]/[Cancel] buttons do not show
(and can not be scrolled to show) when making payments in the
MyBDO personal internet banking webpage. Do the 168 additional
lines cost so much more?

3. The six-cell battery is so heavy compared to the light plastic
body of the Wind, so there is a tendency to get unlocked and fall
out from its normal position. The cavity for the battery should
be designed to "lock in" the battery so that it does not fall out
too easily.

4. The 1.6GHz Atom (dual x86 processor) is good enough for most
of my needs, but a faster one could do no harm for me. The faster
they could make the processor, the better for me.

5. Could the manufacturer embed a metal chassis inside the plastic
body (or a metal wire mesh). A sturdier body is good even for
a netbook.

P.S. I saw and touched the Sony VGN Z27, and have started dreaming
that this is my next netbook, if only I can afford it. He he he ...
