I support Linux, Mac, Windows, and Solaris -- they all exist as both servers and desktop workstations. They mostly work and play well together. I'm not happy with the state of shared-calendaring software, but otherwise clients can be found on all those platforms for standards-compliant services. RDP/X11/VNC can be used to export desktops across the network when a user on one platform needs a proprietary application on a different platform -- or local VMs can be used if licensing isn't an issue. -- Paul Heinlein <> [email protected] <> http://www.madboa.com/ _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
