That sounds like it would be useful for a different kind of pdf file, 
one with multiple pages. Mine are two separate files, each with a single 
image of 1/2 of a newspaper page. However, it's good to know about 
another tool for doing things my way when confronted with a pdf.

I do plan on trying that at some point. I may have to cut the images 
into a dozen or more pieces to make it work, but it might be worth the 
trouble.
