wes, lpr sends data which the CUPS web interface reports as a completed job, yet other than a brief flicker of the print server's activity light there is no output from the printer. It doesn't even wake from its slumber. All I've tested so far is acroread on the .pdf I could not print from the command line or from within xpdf. Haven't yet tried epdfview or any other application.
