Which
brings an alternate solution to mind.
Rather than banning Robinson
from the list have a process in the list software
append the subject line
of all his messages with "! KNOWN TROLL !"
This will give
new list members a heads up. Eventually, if Robinson contributes and
ceases the off topic rants, the appending can cease.
Too bad text
based email won't do color - putting the text in scarlet would be nice.
