Rogan,

For a while rxvt or xterm from a login shell of root or postgres would
wrap long lines, but no longer. They all shift left rather than wrap.

This is new here. Long lines wrapped from Red Hat-4.0 through -7.3 and
Slackware-8.0 to my current -13.1. Something happened about the time I moved
from rxvt to urxvt to gain display of UTF-8 characters. I've no idea what
changed, but there must be a solution somewhere since wrapping was the
default behavior for years.

If (when?) I resolve this I'll post the solution here.

Thanks,

Rich
