BTW - I would prefer to concentrate on T61s that Clinic Sunday, for folks that are prepared, and set aside other Sundays for other models. Like all clinics, we will have plenty of people with other problems, and I don't have the brainpower to help with T61s, and help those other people, AND deal with whatever random laptop walks in the door. This will take time, and I don't want to rush, or send folks home with a box of unassembled parts. Preparation is important, and finding service documents and replacement parts for non-Lenovo machines will take time. If you want to repair a Dell or an HP, we can have fun doing that together, but we will want to learn how, beforehand. Lets do one thing with excellence. Keith P.S., John J: I bet a cookie that the SD card reader on your T61 has a similar problem to your machine we fixed last month. Perhaps your cat chases mice in there, which bends the contacts. :-) We can open your machine and take a look. -- Keith Lofstrom [email protected] _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
