But you could flash a new rom to it and that would get you the functionality you want. For a WRT54G version 6 I don't see any support for Tomato or openwrt, but DD-WRT says they do support this router. You can find the correct rom by searching here. http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database DD-WRT does support IP reservations and you don't have to buy a new router.
