There are known printer issues running a 32-bit version of Firefox on 64-bit version of Linux. Have you restarted firefox since restarting cups? If Firefox's GTK backend can't connect to CUPS, it'll either cause the printer dialogue to freeze Firefox or return no results (just print to file, depending on the version of either Firefox or GTK). Try running Firefox from the command line, you might get useful output on the console, similar to this blog post: http://dullsharpness.com/2012/02/02/fix-firefox-empty-printer-list-on-debian-squeeze-64-bit/ Ensure dbus is running. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
